Sales Representative

Reports To: Sales Manager

Lupulin Brewing Company(LBC) is a busy and growing production brewery and taproom located in Big Lake, MN and Sioux Falls, SD. We are a team of passionate beer lovers with the focus of making spectacular beer and sharing it with others. Job Description

This position as a Sales Representative is responsible for establishing relationships with retail accounts, soliciting orders, scheduling and executing promotional events, ensuring proper stock rotation, and handling customer service inquiries. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to promote and sell LBC products within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to meet sales targets
  • Pursue sales leads, personally visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services, prepare price quotes, delivery dates and service obligations to meet established revenue targets
  • Troubleshoot and handle customer related inquiries in a timely and professional manner, sometimes with minimal supervision or direction
  • Further develop sales skills and knowledge of LBC products, services, and customers by working closely with senior LBC sales staff
  • Rotate and track inventory, inspect dates, clean draught lines if necessary. 
  • Train customer accounts staff on Lupulin products as needed
  • Place POS signage, lighted displays, tackers, etc.
  • Participate in promotional sales and marketing events - this may include working nights and weekends. 
  • Prospect and close sales along with computing prices for customers.
  • Process necessary paperwork clearly, accurately and time
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Willingness to help out with other tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences:

  • 40-45+ hours per week, days/times may vary, primarily Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
  • 2+ years sales experience in the beverage industry
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Drivers License with clean motor vehicle record
  • Proficient in Gmail, spreadsheets, and CRM tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge and love of craft beer including the ability to speak with knowledge about beer styles and basic brewing processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of edible cannabinoid products (ECP) including the ability to speak with knowledge about THC infused seltzers, gummies, cookies and all products within this developing market segment. 
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Self motivated, able to perform tasks, solve problems with minimal supervision
  • Effectively work under stress and pressure in a multi-tasking environment
  • Fun, positive attitude is a must

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • Ability to carry 10 pounds and occasionally lift and 50 pounds for delivering/merchandising
