Big Lake, MINN. – Lupulin Brewing Company and C & L Distributing have inked an agreement allowing C & L to distribute Lupulin’s lineup of award winning beer across much of Central Minnesota including the Brainerd Lakes and Walker area. This is the first Minnesota distribution agreement involving Lupulin Brewing, as the brand, to this point, has grown through self-distribution. The partnership will help immediately increase access to Lupulin’s mouth-watering beer lineup throughout the heart of Minnesota.

After establishing a taproom and brewery in 2015, Lupulin began self-distributing their products in February of 2017, launching two of their flagship beers, Blissful Ignorance® and Hooey®, in cans and tap lines throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area. Since beginning distribution, Lupulin Brewing Co. has been recognized by the Brewers Association as one of the 50 fastest growing breweries in the United States.

The brewery looks to move-up in the ranks of fastest-growing breweries in 2019, with the help of its new $4 million expansion in Big Lake, MN. With this expansion, coming online in the next couple months, Lupulin has created capacity to brew up to 25,000 barrels of beer per year. This increase in production will allow Lupulin to take on distribution partners, like C & L, that help make their product line available border-to-border in Minnesota. While this agreement with C & L is the first Minnesota distribution agreement for the brewery, it will not be the last, as partners Jeff Zierdt and Matt Schiller continue to have discussions with several distributors covering every corner of the state.
